What is Energy Viewpoints?
Energy Viewpoints is a website focused on providing a variety of energy industry news combined with expert opinions and insights. It is designed to attract those with an interest in energy and particularly, those interested in energy investing.

Energy news from a wide variety of sources is brought to the site on an hourly update basis. The news includes all aspects of energy including exploration & production, utilities, alternative energy, energy trading and alternative energy investing. Additionally, other news articles are posted into the site’s extensive forum.

The site features expert contributors who all blog at the site on a regular basis providing opinion and expert insight into various facets of the energy industry. Current bloggers include Dr. Gary M. Vasey and Mr. Patrick Reames. More contributors will be added through time. Each contributor has their own blog on the site and file space to post their own published articles.

Plans for the Website
As traffic builds, the website will also offer energy reports both for free and for a purchase fee. The idea is to offer third-party reports on the site for download and purchase. On addition of the research reports aspect to the site, it will include new, expert opinion and commentary and research all in one convenient location on the internet.
Additionally, various products will be added to the site in the future including; resources for energy investors, an energy viewpoints newsletter and research reports from Energy Viewpoints.

Traffic
The site is new and only beginning to generate traffic. Currently, it is advertised via web links and press announcements however, as its content grows, it will also use Google ads, a newsletter and banner advertising on other sites as well as email blasts to various email lists.

Advertising Opportunities
As the site matures and is developed, traffic will grow. However, for the first 12-months of operation, the site is seeking sponsors and advertisers.

A button ad placed on the side columns of the website – appear on every page

Classified Ad: $20 per month
A text-based classified ad on the site – users must click on the ad for details.

Banner ad on every page: $150 per month
A Banner ad that appears at the top of every page.

Contributor package: $250 per month
Ability to set up as a contributor and blog on the site as desired.
